A Letter to HomeBase
  June 6, 2016

Dear HomeBase Army,

It is pretty amazing what has happened within these walls the last 4 years. I could never have imagined what was in store for me prior to opening these doors.
However, this past weekend sums it all up. Anyone that witnessed Saturday knows that HomeBase is not just a community it is a family and a force to be reckoned with. Everyone stepped up in a huge way and if one person didn’t have a role they created one to make sure the machine kept rolling forward. It is so impressive to see everyone jumping in and lending a hand and not only supporting each other but all the athletes and friends that were in our home spending the day with us. Strength in numbers is so powerful and we were able to see what can be done when we all join hands and walk together.

The vision for HomeBase has always been to create a refuge for those that need a mental recharge and support from like minded people. What we have built is just that and everyone that has ever stepped inside should be proud of what they helped create.

Thank you to all of you, every single one of you mean the world to me and there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for you.
